Lot parking is available behind the church off Evelyn Alley. Street parking is available in front of the church on Charlotte Street and across Grove Park on Gertrude Place. Out of respect to our neighbors, we ask that no one park on Evelyn Alley.
There is designated accessible parking on the street and in our parking lot. Ramps are available at our front and side entrance. A centrally located elevator allows access to all floors. All restrooms are designed with accessible stalls. There are two steps up from the main floor of the sanctuary to the altar rail. For those unable to receive communion at the altar rail due to these steps, communion can be served on the main floor of the sanctuary. Please let an usher know if you would like this option.
Currently, we do not have T-Coil functionality or a hearing aid assistance program. Some find our 8 AM service easier to attend with hearing aids because the volume level is more consistent throughout the service.
Our Sunday 11 AM Holy Communion service is designed to activate as many senses as possible. Incense is used throughout the service. There is singing, organ playing, bells rings, lot of motion, fresh flowers, and chanting as well. While this contributes to a festive Sunday morning worship experience for many of our Saint Mary’s family, we recognize that it can provide an issue to those with sensory processing difficulties.
Our Sunday 8 AM and Tuesday 5:30pm Holy Communion could offer a different option. These services have no music or incense. There may be some chanting.
Yes! Children of all ages are welcome to participate in the worship life of our church. The sound of children in our pews—whether giggling or crying—is a beautiful part of our weekly worship life.
Saint Mary’s is an affirming parish of the Episcopal Church. We are committed to the leadership, ministry, equality and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning Episcopalians and their families.
